A smart marina pedestal is a dockside utility unit that distributes and meters electricity and water at each berth, transmitting consumption data wirelessly to a central management platform in real time. Where a traditional pedestal simply provides sockets and taps, a smart pedestal records exactly what each vessel uses, supports pre-pay or post-pay billing, and lets operators switch supply on or off remotely.
